Medgrab, a web service of the Samaritan Health Services Libraries, is a site where you can 1) sign up to receive email alerts of the Tables-of-Contents of journals in your field or 2) sign up for saved searches that will alert you to recent articles on that topic. It can be accessed via the SHS intranet or at www.medgrab.com.

JOURNAL EMAIL ALERTS

Select the journals alphabetically or by category from the list on the right and sign up. You will be asked for your email address.

Now that you have signed up, you will receive an email alert with the table-of-contents each time that journal is published. To obtain a copy of an article:

• Email the title of the article to:
shslibrary@medgrab.com
• Send a hard copy of the title of the article via interoffice mail or U.S. Mail to one of the SHS libraries

SPECIALIZED SEARCH EMAIL ALERTS

Click on the last item on the list to the right “What’s new—specialized news feeds.” We have been asked to establish these searches. If you’re interested, you may sign up for one of these or, if you want to receive current information on a specific topic of your own choosing on a continuous basis, call the SHS librarians and we’ll establish a search for you.
